Frank was born May 5, 1934 at City Hospital, Saskatoon, and died August 21, 2021 at City Hospital. He was an only child and grew up in City Park neighborhood. He farmed in the Parkside/Kilwinning area, lived many years at Riverside Estates, and spent the majority of his life living in Saskatoon.
He was charming and complex, intelligent and irascible, with a good sense of humor. He was very good at carpentry and building houses and could fix anything. He was a Master Gardener and excelled at growing things. He loved sports, especially hockey and baseball. He loved to read, and enjoyed a good steak, chocolate, and ice cream. He was a Master Bridge player and a pool shark.
He was predeceased by his parents William (Bill) E. Gray and Queade (nee Johnston). He is survived by spouse Virginia Gray (nee Tisher) and children Karen Parker, Kent Gray (spouse Deane, children Jack and Sara), Torr Gray (daughter Sianna), Bridget (spouse Brian Zimmerman, children August, Holt, and Georgia), Katie Gray (spouse Jared Benson, children Ben, Charlie, and Frances), Tanner Gray (spouse Melissa, children Keira and Taylor), Slim Gray (spouse JaDean, son Elliot), and Seth Gray.
Many people have cared for Frank and supported his quest for independent living in the last years and for that we are grateful.
