Frank was born and raised in Calgary, AB. He lost his father at a young age and learned to navigate the world with some assistance from an uncle. Frank found his calling working in sales for various companies located in Alberta. He was very passionate about horse racing and enjoyed his extended trips to Hawaii. He spent many years living in Edmonton and St. Albert, AB. He married and in 1972 his first daughter, Ginny was born. In 1987 Frank was separated and moved to Saskatchewan to work in the home renovation business.
