Grace Soparlo

March 8, 1929 – December 17, 2016

Grace Sopralo passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, December 17, 2016. She was predeceased by her husband John; mother Nettie; father Adolph; and brother Nickolas. She leaves to mourn her son Murray (Marilyn); daughters Deb and Gaylene; grandchildren Garett (Melissa), Kurt (Karly) and Talia; great-grandchildren Sara, Sylvie and John; and brother John Fluter. Mom and Dad moved to Saskatoon in 1982 to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Mom enjoyed and met many friends selling Avon. She also enjoyed her weekly bowling games and was famous for her cabbage rolls, homemade bread and cinnamon buns. She enjoyed being host to her grandchildren and their friends. She loved going to all their activities. In 2009 mom moved into Porteous Lodge and gained a second family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Porteous Lodge (833 Ave. P North. Saskatoon, SK S7L 2W3) where mom made her home for 8 years. Thank-you to her Porteous Lodge family for all their love and kindness to our mother. The Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Windsor Chapel (704 Windsor St.) in Saskatoon.
