uncle halim was my idol.one of the few people who me I respected and loved. an image of Christ who always cheerful,never found angry loved and served all. selfless delayed his own education to let his younger brother finish his first because of financial circumstances and that is why he finished his phd at 36. a leading figure in church uprising in Egypt a friend and Co servant with pope shenouda of Alexandria. as a teenager issued and edited a Sunday school magazine called righteousness from his village that had no electricity nor tap water. served in the villiages of egypt and was instrumental in our decision to seek.better life in australia.I recall with vivid memory his visit to Sydney with wife Victoria in 1985. will miss him greatly and very proud to be blood linked to him.

Halim was a kind and gentle person who was a valuable colleague of mine in the College of Commerce at the University of Saskatchewan. My sincere condolences to the family.

We have lost a truly great man and uncle. We have missed his happy, cheerful ,wise and compassionate personality. Our hearts are painfully saddened.  He is what God intended man to be, Christ image..He is living with God in higher places.

Dear Victoria and family,
   We extend our sympathy to you all. You have lost such a special person in each of your lives. We remember Halim as such a gentle, kind, thoughtful, always compassionate person. We need more of his kind in this world. Although he rose through the academic ranks to the top with a PhD, he never let his personal success get in the way of his acceptance and friendship of others . Always ready to give kind advice to students.  When I think of Halim, I immediately see his twinkling blue eyes which always seemed to welcome one to his world! 
   May your faith give you comfort at this time.

Dear Victoria
We are very saddened to hear of Halim's passing.  We all enjoyed spending time with him and getting to know him.  He was such a sweet and compassionate man... he will be missed by all of us at the Sherbrooke Community Day Program!

Dr Bishara was very kind and amazing person. He was a Brother, Father and Best Friend. He cared about people and family. We will miss him.

Our world will never be the same. I was very fortunate to meet this extraordinary family.
A hole now in your hearts and memories no one can ever take from any of us.
