It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Harold “Dale” Lightfoot, on December 20, 2025, at the age of 86. Dad was born in Tisdale, SK, on June 18, 1939, and passed away on his farm near Allan, SK.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rosalind (Zerr), of 65 years; sons Greg (Brenda), Bryon (Jackie Olsen); grandchildren Janaye (Tony) Chubb, Tyler (Amy) Lightfoot, Angela (Len) Hopkins, Damian (Hilary) Lee, Cassidy (Bob) MacRae, Emily Drury, Ella Drury; great-grandchildren Bryson, Evynn Chubb; Forest, Rio Lightfoot; Brooklyn, Silver Hopkins; Lainey Lee, Remi, Rory, Ripley MacRae; siblings Bob Lightfoot and Dianne Penner; as well as numerous relatives.
Dale is predeceased by his parents, Ethel and Ernest Lightfoot; brothers Herbert and Alfred Lightfoot; sister Eileen Pospisil; daughter Janice Lightfoot; daughter-in-law Norma Lightfoot; and granddaughter Presley Lightfoot, as well as numerous family members.
A celebration of life will be held at Kenaston Place January 14, 2026, at 2:00 pm, Kenaston, SK, with Rev. Susan Anholt officiating.
