Harry Christopher Rundberg

Our beloved Harry died peacefully on October 8, 2026 at age 94. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather as well as a good neighbour and friend. Always a gentleman, both smart and kind. With an outgoing friendly nature, he was always willing to lend a helping hand. We will miss his positive attitude.

Harry lived his entire life in Saskatchewan. He grew up in the Spruce Lake district, then moved to Saskatoon in 1963. He and Jane lived on MacKenzie Crescent for over 60 years. It was there that they raised Larry and Kathy. He volunteered for many community groups and for many years worked at Bit Service Company.

Harry and Jane would have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary later this month. They met when Jane was working at the Paradise Hill Hospital and Harry was teaching school in Frenchman Butte. Each were fortunate to enjoy many years of good health. Harry remained at MacKenzie Crescent for a few years after Jane moved to Sunnyside Adventist Care Centre. In January 2021, he moved to Riverside Terrace and in April 2025 he joined Jane at Sunnyside.

The family is very grateful for the excellent care given by the entire staff at Sunnyside. It was obvious to us that he was very happy there.

Harry is survived by his loving wife Jane, son Larry (Janet), daughter Kathy (Dan) and grandsons Tanner and Parker. He will now be with his baby daughter Beverly in heaven.

We are blessed to have so many happy memories. Rest in Peace Harry.
