In her younger years Hermine was a hard-working farmwife, who enjoyed caring for their cattle, gardening and tending to her flowers, as well as teaching Vacation Bible School.
After moving to Saskatoon and raising her own girls, she cared for two neighborhood children that she fondly referred to as her boys, Brent and Darren. She also volunteered her time at Wildwood Public School library.
Hermine loved nothing better than visiting with her family and spending time with them boating, fishing and camping. She also loved her extended "Furry" family of dogs, cats and horses.
Her kind and gentle soul touched everyone who met her. She was a joyful presence, and most will fondly remember Hermine for her beautiful smile.
She is joined in rest by her parents, Rupert and Anna Hofmann; sisters: Mary Morin, Anna Olson, Lucy Mohagen; and brother Johnny Hofmann.
She is forever remembered by her loving husband of 69 years, Raymond Rediger and her daughters Linda (George) and Rita; sister Rita Little; brother Robert Hofmann and extended families.
To honour Hermine's wishes, no funeral service will be held. In memory of her, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or charity of choice.
