Herta Tina Koop

September 14, 1930 - June 30, 2014

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of our mother at RUH in Saskatoon. After a short battle with cancer, she succumbed to her illness and passed away peacefully. She will be sadly missed by her family, relatives and church. Herta is survived by her husband, Victor; her four children: Leonard Koop (Jason) of Dundurn, Marjorie (Charlie) Smith (Jodie, Eric, Celeste) of Allan, Sharon (Ronald) Hewer of Carstairs, Dennis (Kim) Koop (Mackenzie, Jordan) of Mississauga; her brothers, Elmer (friend Frieda Coben) Harder, Vern (Barb) Harder and sister, Erna (Aldred) Neufeldt; sisters in-law, Marg Peters , Ag Peters, Hedie Harder, Mel Crossley, Marlene (Dave) Froese and many nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by her daughter, Christina; parents, Jacob and Helena Harder; her brother, Henry and her sister, Helen; parents in-law, Henry and Maria Koop; in-laws, Nick Peters, Mary Harder, Arnie Froese, Ed Peters and Wayne Crossley. Funeral service will be held Sunday, July 6, 2014 at 2:00 p.m., at the Pleasant Point Mennonite Church, Clavet. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mennonite Central Committee (600 45th St West Sasktoon, S7L 5W9).  Arrangements have been entrusted to Mourning Glory Funeral Services 306-978-5200.
