Jason Donahue

Jason was born on September 24, 1976 in Winnipeg, MB. He moved with his Mom and Dad to Birch River shortly after. Jason lived with his mom, dad, brother and sister in several small communities throughout Manitoba until moving with his family to Calgary, AB in 1997. In Calgary, Jason enjoyed volunteering at his church and became very involved in the Calgary BMX club where he developed his love for BMX racing. In 2008, Jason met his wife Christina and moved to Saskatoon shortly after. Jason quickly became a father to Adam and Hannah and they then welcomed Sophia into their family in 2010. Jason was a loving and supporting father, husband and together they made a happy home in Martensville, SK. Jason was a devoted son as well. He enjoyed fishing with his friends, his daughters and his father. He looked forward to his yearly snowboarding trips with his son and hated to miss a Saskatchewan Rush game. Jason is survived by his loving wife and best friend Christina, his 3 amazing children Adam, Hannah and Sophia, his parents Jackie and Rick Donahue, sister Jenessa (Jon), brother Tyler (Jamie), niece Juniper and nephews Christian and Otter. Jason was taken too soon but will never be forgotten. Please join us in celebrating his life on Wednesday, March 28 at 1:30 p.m. from Lakeview Church (South of Highway 16 and Boychuk Drive, Saskatoon) with fellowship to follow. Officiating will be Pastor Joe Manafo. Casual attire please, because Jason always hated suits. Interment will take place at a later time.
