Throughout her life, Jeanette embraced many roles with grace and dedication. She was among other things a teacher, a farmer, a gardener, a musician, and an avid traveler whose curiosity and love of learning were reflected in her many hobbies and interests. She touched countless lives through her kindness, generosity, and strength.
Born in Guernsey Saskatchewan, Jeanette pursued her passion for education and began her teaching career south of Gull Lake. It was during this time that she met the love of her life, Jack. They built a life on the family farm, creating a home filled with love, laughter, and hard work. Together they raised six children, instilling in them the values of compassion, perseverance, and the importance of family.
She will be remembered for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and the love she shared so freely with those around her. Her legacy lives on in her family, her friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will continue to inspire and comfort us for years to come.
