With tender hearts, we announce the passing and celebrate the life of our father John Mack.
John was a man who cared deeply about family and who’s humor lifted the spirits of all that he touched.
He enjoyed nature, photography, camping, fishing, road trips, thrifting, dogs, sweets, learning and ancient mysteries.
John made his grand exit from this lifetime, feeling the love from family and his coffee row friends at Sunset Estates. While in Palliative care, he warmed the hearts of many of the staff with his lighthearted humor and keenness for his upcoming etheric adventure.
In addition to his parents John & Kay, John was preceded in death by his sister Daphne (Bill) and brother Glenn (Diane). He is survived by daughters Solah & Christy, former spouse Janis, brothers David (Cathy), Dale (Theresa) and sister Elaine (Dave). And last but not least, his big ol golden dog, Guss.
Upon John’s request there will be no funeral service. Please celebrate John’s life in a way that feels fitting to you. If you were dear to him, you can know he’ll be smiling down on you.
"Well, some glad morning when this life is over,
I'll fly away
To a home on God's celestial shore,
I'll fly away
I'll fly away o glory,
I'll fly away in the morning
When I die, hallelujah bye and bye
I'll fly away"
Song by Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis & Johnny Cash
We love you to the moon & back Poppa Bear!
