Joseph Frank Keen

Marina (nee Dukart) Keen passed away peacefully September 26, 2023. Marina was born May 20, 1939 in Bradwell Sask.

Joseph Keen passed away peacefully February 20, 2022 at Samaritan Place. Joe was born April 13, 1928 in Allan Sask.

Joe and Marina were married August 17, 1963. Together they established their roots in Saskatoon , buying the family home in 1964.

Joe and Marina raised two children Kelvin, and Carman (Cliff) Erhardt.

Joe worked for 35 years installing drywall. He recalled his earliest job which was 301 Hilliard St E (the former Ursuline Glengarda Residence) in 1958. He also worked on St Angela Merici Residence in 1985 and again at Glengarda in 1989.

Joe retired from the drywalling business in 1994 and took up his true calling which was hobby farming with his brother Paul till 2004.

Marina worked as a Residence Manager for 20 years at Ursuline Glengarda Residence. She retired in 1997 due to health reasons. She then took up her true passions of Art and music.

Both were devout Catholics and Ursuline associates.

A Mass of Christian Burial to Celebrate Joe and Marina will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday October 11, 2023 at Holy Spirit Parish (114 Kingmere Place, Saskatoon).
