Julie Katherine Muir

It is with great sadness that the family of Julie Muir announce her passing on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at the age of 93. Julie was born and raised on the farm in Lemberg, SK. She left the farm to pursue an education in nursing. Julie married Roly in 1953 and nursed for a few years before dedicating her life to raising her children. Julie enjoyed sewing, reading, traveling and visiting with family and friends over a glass of wine.

Julie was predeceased by her husband Roly (2008), son Jaime (1977), parents Nellie and Steve Krupski and 6 brothers and 4 sisters.

Julie is survived by sons Greg (Tina), Keith (Melanie) - Pennsylvania, and daughter Jean - Calgary. Grandchildren and great-grandchildren Maria (Nathan, Lorenzo), Julia (Brett) and Jesse; Michael, Mia, and Landon - Pennsylvania; Danielle (Spencer, Riley and Tillie), Jaime (Olivia, Evie and Ellis) - Calgary; sister Emily – Regina and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at Cedar Gardens Personal Care Home for Julie’s care in the last year. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Julie’s memory can be made to a charity of your choice.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Holy Spirit Parish (114 Kingsmere Place, Saskatoon) with Father Ralph Kleiter Celebrant.
