June Mildred Faber

June married George Faber August 22, 1959. They lived in many small towns over the years and finally settled in Saskatoon. Kevin joined the family in 1963 and Kelly in 1966.

June and George enjoyed camping with Hugh & Joanne Ure, Ed and Verna Pogoda, and Jerry and Geraldine Hartz & family. They enjoyed longer trips throughout Canada and The USA with trailer in tow. The early 90’s took them for a month long trip throughout most of Europe.

Mom lived her final 3.5 years at Amy McClure House, Saskatoon. This is a small secure care home for those who develop Memory Care (Dementia & Alzheimer’s). She picked this care home herself, and we couldn’t have been happier with the care she received by all.

June was predeceased by George Faber in September 2012.

She was also predeceased by her parents Mary (Walter) and Philip Hartz, Walter (Brother), Sylvia (Sister), and Jerry (Brother).

June will be remembered by son Kevin, daughter Kelly (Wendy), sister Verna Pogoda (Ed) many nieces, nephews and friends.
