MORROW, Katherine Anne
February 25, 1966 – July 27, 2021
The Morrow family of Saskatoon and Outlook is deeply saddened to announce the sudden death of Kathy – a beloved daughter, sister and aunt. She was born in Toronto but lived most of her life in Saskatoon with a brief stay in Calgary. She completed her school years at Evan Hardy Collegiate and then received a degree in Recreational Technology from Kelsey in Saskatoon. Kathy was keenly interested in sports and started speed swimming while still in College Park Public School. She played basketball and soccer at Evan Hardy and also managed to fit in her love of golf. She represented Saskatchewan in several national competitions while still a teenager. As the family had a cabin at Candle Lake, she developed a keen sense of the north and was happy to spend summers there to help her father update the cabin. Her love of woodworking was inherited from him. This fitted in very well with her last job with Cameco at Cigar Lake. Kathy had a love of music and Bruce Springsteen was her favorite. One of the thrills of her life was seeing him perform live at a concert in Vancouver. The other was travelling by herself to Oakland to attend a NFL game of her beloved Oakland Raiders, which they surprisingly won. She was predeceased by her father Bob (R.T.), her sister-in-law Terry, and her brother Rob. Kathy is survived by her mother Joanna, brother Ken (Cathy) of Outlook, their adult children Kendra (Alex) and their children Niall and Julia, son Robert, brother Mike and his daughter Coryn of Waskesiu. There will be a private family service. Memorial donations to Diabetes Canada would be gratefully received. We hope to have a memorial celebration of her life in the near future. A notice of such will be posted in the StarPhoenix. Arrangements in care of Travis Minor – Mourning Glory Funeral Services (306) 978-5200.

A sequel stands beyond
Invisible as music,
but positive as sound.”
