The Four Attires of Keith
When I think of Keith, I am immediately reminded of his constant presence during my high school and college years. Since Mike and I spent all our free time together, Keith became a key figure in the most memorable moments of my young adult life. For some reason, I remember him best by the "attires" he wore.

The Lake Attire
First, there was the Lake Attire: swim shorts and a button-down sweater, always ready to get us out on the water. Keith was incredibly generous to include me in those summer vacations at the cabin. I’ll never forget those boat trips where he’d let me steer through the canal while he personally walked the boat through the shallow water. In the evenings, Keith and Mike would play guitar and tell stories late into the night, right up until Mike and I climbed into our bunk beds, leaving Keith to claim his spot on the couch. Those days at the lake shine bright in my memory, and Keith made them possible.
The Weekend Warrior
The next outfit I recall was his "Working Around the House" sweats and shirt. While Mike and I goofed off playing NBA 2K or shooting hoops, Keith would be outside sweating bullets. I can still see him hauling that lawnmower around the dangerously sloped backyard on Ball Crescent. He seemed to be always mowing that 45-degree hill—or at least trying to will Mike into doing it with him. He was the engine that kept the house running while we were busy being kids.
The Rockstar
Then, of course, there was the Captain Midnight jacket with a guitar in his hand. Keith and Mike were always messing around in the downstairs studio together. It was easily the coolest place to hang out, watching creativity unfold in real-time. It’s a testament to Keith’s incredible patience that he endured so much noise and ruckus coming from that basement. Seeing him as a musician—a man with a traveling band and a lifelong passion—was inspiring. Even though I never got into music myself, being around that energy gave me a taste of that e

So sorry to hear of Keith’s passing. I pray God’s peace encompasses you Norma , Jana and Michael and your families. 
I think back on 23 years of being neighbors with your family. The Morson’s were there to welcome us to the block and before long Jana and Sherri had become fast friends 
I remember Keith as a thoughtful, caring neighbour- always a smile and a wave across the street. When my husband’s health started to fail, Keith steered his snowblower across the street to clear our driveway for us. Thank you Keith for these acts of kindness.

My memories of Keith are over 50 years...and endless.  One of my favourites is our time together at Fishing Lake...part of which was playing music, singing, golfing, laughing and figuring out life.

Keith was married to my first cousin, Norma.  I was’t particularly close to Keith and Norma over the years.  We would see each other at family events, which were not too frequent.   But I always enjoyed seeing them and immediately appreciated Keith’s quiet nature,  and ready smile.  He was so easy to visit with and spend time with, even if we hadn’t seen each other for a time.  My wife, Gail, and I were saddened when we first heard about Keith’s diagnosis and, from various visits, first in their home, and then in the care home, saw the toll the disease was taking on him.  I was fortunate to be able to visit with him on good days and bad and I would often see other friends there encouraging Keith and showing their love for him.  Keith had a quiet faith and I was privileged to often pray with him before leaving.    I know that Keith is worshipping our Saviour even as I write these words.   Norma and family, our hearts go out to you and Gail and I will continue to pray for you as you mourn and navigate the road ahead.  All our love,  Glenn and Gail

Kieth was a very kind man.  I met you both years back.
Last year we reunited in Oliver Lodge. Whenever I visited the Lodge I would share a few words with Kieth and give him a hug!

I was so very sorry to hear about the passing of your husband, father, and grandfather. Please know that my heart is with you and your family during this incredibly difficult time. Losing someone so special leaves such a deep space, and I hope you are surrounded by love and support as you grieve.

Jana, having known you first as my student and, until recently, as a colleague, I feel especially aware of the strength, kindness, and character you carry — qualities that I know were shaped in part by your dad’s love and guidance. His influence lives on in you in so many meaningful ways.
