Kim was born in Rose Valley, SK, on December 3, 1965. He attended Archerwill School and Rose Valley High School. He worked many different jobs throughout his life, including road construction, oil rigs, hard rock mining, diamond drilling and construction.
Kim is survived by his daughter Jennifer; his father, Alex (Olga); his siblings: Allison (Kim), Sandy (Tim), Michael (Kathy) and Lee; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Laura; stepmother Serena; and sister-in-law Tammy.
A Celebration of Life will be arranged later in the summer.
