He attended St. Gerard elementary school from Grade 1 through Grade 8 and played on the school hockey team. Larry also completed Firearms Safety Training, earning his final certificate.
He enjoyed going to Uncle Adam’s farm near Brooksby for the summer holidays when he was young and enjoyed camping at John Bosco Camp.
Larry attended E.D. Feehan high school from Grades 9 to 12. After graduation, he worked part-time at Eaton's Warehouse on deliveries for one year and later was employed by Inter Continental Packers in Saskatoon.
Larry had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, and listening to music. He retired early due to poor health.
Larry will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Victor and Molly; his sister, Leslie; brother-in-law, Jeff; nephew, Joel; and niece, Caitlin Stroeder. He was a loving, patient, and kind son and brother, and these qualities will be cherished by all who knew him.
Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Monday, August 17, at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Church, 211 Ave O South, Saskatoon, SK. Reception to follow.
