

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Laura, cherished mother and grandmother to son Jason and daughter Olivia, daughter Kendra (Kevin Dyck) and their children Emerson and Ainsley, daughter Kimberly (Murray Armstrong) and their son Kingston. Also to cherish Laura’s memory are her sisters Linda Adair and Janice Schindel and their families: sister and brothers-in-law Mildred (John Dyck), Elaine Weenk, Wayne (Brenda) Neudorf, Carol Pilon, Clinton (Brenda) Neudorf, Colin (Kim) Neudorf, Donna MacEwen, Jean Neudorf, Darrell (Andrea) Neudorf, Stephen (Marjorie) Neudorf and their families. She will also be remembered by many cousins and life-long friends. Laura is predeceased by her loving husband Kenneth Neudorf, her father and mother Eric and Evelyn Brocklesby, baby brother George, brothers-in-law Len Cheney, Brian Adair, and Wayne Schindel.
Laura was born in Vancouver, B.C, moving to Calgary at age 3, then to Yorkton in 1954 where her schooling began and then moved to Saskatoon in 1956. Laura grew up on Munroe Avenue surrounded by a community of close friends and neighbours. She attended Aden Bowmen Collegiate and completed her secretarial school. Laura and Ken were married in 1970 and raised their young family in the Wildwood community where they were incredibly involved, making many lifelong friends. In 1984, they built their dream home in Lakeview that they both enjoyed in comfort their entire lives.
Laura celebrated her retirement from the University of Saskatchewan printing services department in 2012. Laura and Ken enjoyed many travels to the Yukon, USA, Mexico, and most fondly remembered by Laura, Europe. In 2023, Laura and her daughters traveled to one of her favorite destinations, Victoria, B.C to celebrate Mother’s Day with high tea at the Empress hotel.
Thank you to our family and friends for your outpouring of support during this challenging time. Laura’s legacy will live on through her children and grandchildren. Memorial Service to be held 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Acadia Funeral Chapel (915 Acadia Drive, Saskatoon). Cremation to take place and cremains to be honoured at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Derryl Hildebrandt.
