Leona Ethel Hamm

Fuzz was born June 8, 1932, in the Spalding area, to parents Katie and Mike Fouhse. She was one of six children and is survived by her sister, Marg Jestin and sister-in-law Joan Fouhse-Ferguson. She is also survived by son Mike and daughter Sue (Doug), grandchildren Brett, Kyle and Nicole, and great-grandchildren Lillith, Wolfgang, Cassidy, Drew, Parker and Marley.

She was predeceased by her husband Kevin in 2006, son David in 1987 and son-in-law Dave Gonor in 2007.

Mom’s life was accentuated by a brief career teaching school, having children, then working alongside Kevin and her sons in the operation of Unity Herald and Wilkie Press. Summers at Murray Lake created everlasting memories. Always an avid sports fan and participant, she enjoyed countless hours watching all sports on TV, and discussing said games over a glass of wine with friend Linda.

Her mind was strong and her wit intact until shortly before her death. We were blessed to have this incredible woman in our lives.
