Leone Hiller

Mary Leone Hiller (nee Anderson) passed away on August 22, 2018 in Saskatoon at the age of 88. Leone was loving wife to Doug for 67 years and devoted mother to Debbie (John) Gibson, Moose Jaw; Lorna (Stan) Johnson, Saskatoon; Keith (Bev) Hiller, Calgary; Jodi (Ken) Nickel, Calgary. Grandchildren: Mick (Kelsey), Mandy (Mark); Danielle (Troy), Dave (Amanda); Jordan (Melissa), Brendon (Nicole), Kelsey (Geoff); Aidan, Walker, and eighteen great-grandchildren. She is survived by sister Betty (Cliff) MacDonald (Saskatoon) and brother Don (Wendy) Anderson (Rosetown) and many nieces and nephews. Leone was born in Rosetown, SK where she married Doug in 1950 and where the three eldest children were born. They spent ten years in Saskatoon before moving to Regina in 1969 where they raised their family. Leone loved their 30 years in Mesa, AZ – swimming, dancing, and laughing with dear friends. Bethany Manor (Saskatoon) has been home since 2013. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation, c/o Palliative Care. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 25th, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Lawson Heights Alliance Church (159 Pinehouse Dr.) with Pastor Mike Newson officiating. Arrangements are in care of MOURNING GLORY FUNERAL SERVICES (306) 978-5200.
