LeRoy Ivan Francis Elliott

In his younger years, Leroy was known for the steady determination of a man who never shied away from work, taking on a variety of jobs and meeting each day with quiet resolve. Away from the demands of the day, he found satisfaction in the careful focus of puzzles and the patient craft of assembling model cars—pastimes that suited his practical hands and attentive mind.

Though he worked hard, Leroy also made room for laughter. There was often a mischievous twinkle in his eye, and he was rarely far from a well-timed joke or a shared smile. In the company of others, his warmth showed in simple, genuine ways—through easy humour, a ready kindness, and the comfort of being with someone who cared.

Above all, Leroy loved his people, and he held a special place in his heart for his twin sister, Leona Broste.

Leroy was predeceased by his parents, Orville and Florence, and by his spouse, Rose. He is survived by his loving family: twin sister Leona Broste; daughters Danette (Ed) and Tammy (Ed); stepsons Philip George and Jeff Elliott; and many more family and friends.

Leroy, you will be missed. Rest in Perfect Peace.
