Leslie ""Les"" John Cantin

June 15, 1959 – December 6, 2014

Les Cantin passed away on December 6, 2014 in the arms of Kim, the love of his life, and surrounded by his adoring family. Les fought a brief and courageous battle with cancer. Les was born on June 15, 1959 to Bill and Irene Cantin and was raised in Prince Albert. Les’s passions in life were his children, family and friends, as well as being a karate master and champion, an entrepreneur, an audio engineer, a music lover, a software geek, a business owner, a people lover and a mentor. Les is survived by his loving wife of 31 years Kim (nee Cowles), his three adored children Jenna (Kyle), Mitchell (Krista) and Rhett, his mother Irene, siblings Marilyn, Elaine, Ken, Sheila and Darryl and their families, as well as his mother-in-law Liz and Kim’s siblings Karen, Sherry, Lyndon and Lyle and their families. Les was predeceased by his father Bill, brother Dale and father-in-law Harvey. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Saskatchewan Association for Community Living (3031 Louise Street, Saskatoon, SK S7J 3L1 - www.sacl.org), or to a charity of your choice. A Celebration of Les’ Life will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Emmanuel Baptist Church (1636 Acadia Drive, Saskatoon).
