Lori Woolford

With broken hearts we announce the passing of our precious and beautiful wife, mother, daughter, and sister. Lori passed away on October 31st, 2016 after a brief two week battle with cancer. In her final hours she was surrounded by her loving family and friends. Lori was born November 14th, 1969 in Saskatoon and attended Brevoort Park Elementary School and Walter Murray High School. She worked at the family business, Mr. Rizo’s for years. She married Wade Woolford in 1999 and together cherished their son Dawson, born in 2005. She is sadly missed by her husband Wade, son Dawson, parents Ed and Myrna Nazarenko, brothers Darcy and Bart, special cousin Carrie Moen, mother-in-law Delores Scarfe (Reg), sisters-in-law Jan (JP), Shelley (Ed), brothers-in-law Chet, Clark, James (Gina) and Brad (Shelley), several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Donations in memory of Lori may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Childrens Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice. Thank you to Dr. O at City Hospital and All the Drs. and Nurses who took care of our Lori so compassionately. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 8th at Knox United Church (24th Street and Spadina Cres) with Rev. Brian Maitland officiating.
