Marie Winnifred Fesciuc

Born on June 23, 1959, Marie lived a life marked by kindness, loyalty, and quiet strength. She had a wonderful sense of humour, a generous heart, and a gift for forming lasting friendships. Whether with family, friends, or colleagues, Marie was someone people could count on. She brought warmth, laughter, and compassion into the lives of those around her and will be deeply missed.

Marie was predeceased by her loving parents, Roberta and Donald Fesciuc; her brother, Kevin Fesciuc; her sister, Melodie Fesciuc; and her brother, Derek Fesciuc.

She leaves to cherish her memory her brother, Mark Fesciuc, and his wife, Chantalle Morrow-Fesciuc; her nephews, Cäel and Callen; her brother, Todd Fesciuc; and her sister, Dayna Fesciuc; along with extended family and many dear friends.

Marie loved spending time with her family, playing games and watching movies. She was an avid reader, enjoying genres from westerns to romance, but nothing intrigued her more than a good old-fashioned Agatha Christie mystery.

Marie always loved pets, starting as an elementary student, with her rooster named Clint (which she fashioned a carrying sling for and even took Clint on family vacations).

Marie dedicated 28 years of her professional life working alongside Dr. Allen Woo, with whom she shared a close friendship built on mutual respect, loyalty, and countless memories. She also held a special place in her heart for her work friends, Alison, Leah, Robyn, Lisa, Carrie, Mike, Ted and Tracy and so, so many more. The laughter, friendship, and workplace shenanigans you shared brought Marie so much joy, and those memories will forever be treasured.

Marie will be remembered not only for what she did but for whom she was—a caring soul who made people feel welcome, valued, and loved. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and quiet grace that will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her.

Though our hearts are broken, we are grateful for the time we shared with her. We will carry her memory with us always, finding comfort in the love she gave so freely and the many lives she touched.

In keeping with Marie's wishes, there will be no formal Celebration of Life at this time. Family and friends are encouraged to remember her in their own way, sharing stories, laughter, and the memories that made her so special.
