

Marion Luella Annie Hillis was born February 6, 1930, on a farm in the White Bear, Saskatchewan area. She was the second child of Bennie and Amanda Westgard. She lived at home until she married the love of her life on April 17, 1948.
Don and Marion started married life living at Elmont where Don taught school. In the summer of 1948, they moved to Superb. Emily was born February 1949 in Macklin. Donna was born in 1954 in Kerrobert,
Don returned to University of Saskatchewan in 1960. In 1962, Tom was born in St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon. Don, Marion, and family moved to Luseland in summer of 1962. They remained there until Don retired. Don and Marion then moved to Saskatoon where they remained the rest of their days.
Marion enjoyed life being a mother and homemaker. She loved gardening, cooking, puzzles and spoiling her grandchildren. Marion was known for her delicious homemade bread. Marion was always there to give a helping hand to Donna and Emily.
Marion is survived by her daughters Donna and Emily, Emily’s (Danny) grandsons, Darren (Cindy), Dean (Michelle), Trent (Lacey), granddaughter Michelle, great grandchildren (Darren) Brayden, McKinley and Alexandra, (Dean) Rikki, Teagan and Taylor, (Trent) Addison and Morgan, daughter Donna’s (Rick) granddaughter Crystal (Brent), as well as sister Jean, sister in law Emmy Lou along with several nieces and nephews.
Marion was predeceased by her husband Don in 2008, son Tom in 1979, sister Delores, brothers Leonard and Clifford, brother in laws Clifford, George, Bob, Bill, Willy, sisters in laws Rheta and Ruth.
Internment will take place at Macklin Cemetery at a private family ceremony.
