It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Marjorie Georgina Hicks, age 92, of Saskatoon. Born in LeRoy, Saskatchewan, Marjorie married Stanley in 1953 and moved to Saskatoon in 1956, where she remained for the rest of her life. She was a kind and strong woman who will be remembered for her love of family and her talents as a seamstress, gardener, and cook. Marjorie will be lovingly remembered by her children Ken, Dennis, and Elaine (Mike) Tomyn; grandchildren Allison (Ben), Evan (Jordin), Jason (Ashlee), Josh, and Amanda (Taylor); eight great-grandchildren; and siblings Gerald Wingert, Glen Wingert, and Jean Barrie. She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley; daughters Patricia and Colleen; parents George and Lillian Wingert; and sisters Betty Weisgerber and Charlotte Stein. A service celebrating Marjorie’s life will be held Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Acadia Drive Funeral Chapel, 915 Acadia Drive, Saskatoon, SK.
