Mom was born in 1940 in Hanley, Sask. She married the love of her life Peter in June of 1958.
They had 2 children Lauriel and Stacey.
Mom's garden was her pride and joy. Over the years, many neighbors and children from local schools stopped to admire it when it was in full bloom. As her health declined her oldest daughter Lauriel took over her yard to maintain it for her. This spring she battled one of her biggest health challenges and never returned home to see the beauty of her garden.
Left to mourn are her two daughters, Lauriel and Stacey (Mark); along with four grandchildren, Amanda (Rick), Christine (Jayson), Nathan (Krysta), Zachary (Liz); and two great-grandchildren, Evie and Holly. As well her brother Frank (Maureen), brothers-in-law, Micheal (Anne) and Jack; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
At Mom's request there will be no funeral.
