Othilia Lynchuk

LYNCHUK - Othilia Lynchuk of Cudworth, SK passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2015, at the Cudworth Nursing Home at the age of 84 years. As a girl she loved to ride horses and attend country dances. In her later years, she loved to read and learn and books were one of her favourite things. Tillie and her husband Peter brought 13 children into this world and farmed for 30 years. She is survived by 11 children - daughters, Sonya Lynchuk of St. Albert, AB, Elizabeth Lynchuk of Regina, SK and Simone (Mike) Pawluk of Saskatoon, SK; sons, Ted Lynchuk of Cudworth, SK, Bob (Sandra) Lynchuk of Cudworth, SK, Andy (Gwen) Lynchuk of Moose Jaw, SK, Tom (Linda) Lynchuk of Saskatoon, SK, Jim (Heather) Lynchuk of Saskatoon, SK, Greg (Diane) Lynchuk of Saskatoon, SK, Jeff (Tammy) Lynchuk of Aberdeen, SK, and Dean (Michelle) Lynchuk of Mornville, AB; 24 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; sisters, Leona Kindrachuk and Caroline Hamm; sisters-in-law Joan Smudy, Mary Pidskalny and Eileen Lynchuk. She was predeceased by her parents Peter and Sophie Smudy; husband Peter in 2004; son, Terry in 1979; daughter, Peggy in 1968; brother, Clarence Smudy in 2009; father and mother-in-law, Stephan and Anna Lynchuk; and many other relatives. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Cudworth, SK, with Rev. Fr. Colin Roy as celebrant.
