Patricia Claudette Aupperle

Patricia Claudette Aupperle passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at Preston Special Care Home in Saskatoon at the age of 91.

Pat will be lovingly remembered by her children: Richard (Corinne) Aupperle, Geraldine (Rodney) Kalmakoff, Darla (Marty) Smuk, and Shawn (Karla) Aupperle; her partner Norm Kitter; her grandchildren: Chantelle Kalmakoff, Chris Kalmakoff, Coralee Trotter, Rachelle Dunn, Brittnie Cook, Jenelle Klassen, Shae Kalmakoff, Travion Aupperle, and Danipha Aupperle; and her 17 great-grandchildren, who brought so much joy to her life.

Pat was predeceased by her parents Nora McBride and Percy Murrell; her first husband and first love, Lloyd Aupperle; her second husband, George Netto; her grandson, Cody Smuk; her stepfather, Elmo McBride; her brother, Ronald Murrell; and her sisters, Lorraine Schneider and Betty Hennefent.

Patricia was born on May 27, 1935. She grew up around the Boharm area until she met and married Lloyd. Together they raised their family in Saskatoon. After his passing, the summer months at Murray Lake held a special place in Pat’s heart, while winters were spent in Yuma, Arizona, enjoying the sunshine and warmer weather.

Pat had a love for the simple pleasures in life and knew how to enjoy them. She was a wonderful baker, especially known for her delicious strudels, which were made with love and enjoyed by family and friends. She loved dancing, attending jam sessions, playing cards, and working on puzzles. Whether sharing a laugh, enjoying a good game of cards, or dancing to her favourite music, Pat knew how to have a good time.

Pat also had a sweet tooth and was never one to pass up a good dessert! It was just one of the many little things that made Pat who she was and brought smiles to those around her.

Family was very important to Pat, and she especially enjoyed family gatherings, where memories were made, stories were shared, and laughter filled the room. These special times together will be treasured by her family for years to come.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her. Her Celebration of Life will be in June 2027, date to be determined.
