Patricia May Epp

It is with great sadness our family announces the passing of Patricia May Epp on Friday, July 14, 2023. Pat passed away peacefully under the compassionate care of the staff at the Saskatoon City Hospital.

Pat was predeceased by her mother and father, Rose and Neil Partridge, and her brother, Robert “Bobby” Partridge.

Pat is survived by her husband of 52 years, Henry; and her son, Jamie. She is also survived by sisters, Sharon (Barry), Judy (Ken) and brothers Jerry (Teresa), William “Billy”, and David, as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces, and nephews.

Pat was born and raised in Saskatoon, but the country was always in her heart and shortly after being married Pat and Hank bought an acreage near Clavet. Her love of animals shone through and they were always in the yard (horses, dogs, cats, rabbits), even if they were strays. In 1986, Pat and Hank opened up their own auto mechanic/machine shop where Pat was a jack of all trades, bookkeeper, secretary, delivery and pickup driver, cleaner, and anything else that was needed.

Pat was part of the Northwoods Arabian Horse Association and loved to ride horses as much as she could, including after her car accident in 1995. As soon as she was recovered enough she was back up on the horse and loved every second of it.

Above everything else Pat loved her family and was able to travel with Hank to Europe while following their son Jamie while he competed in cross-country running. After retirement they also got to travel to Mexico on multiple occasions where Pat enjoyed the local culture and had some of the best times of her life.

A Celebration of Life for Pat will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 21, 2023 at Pleasant Point Mennonite Church (from Clavet- 14 km South on Bentley Road, then 1/2 km West) with lunch to follow. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Diabetes Canada, Crohn’s and Colitis Canada, and/or Alzheimer Society of Canada.
