Scott Hayes lost his battle with cancer passing away at St Paul's Hospital in Saskatoon on March 30, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Kelvington, SK on August 27, 1946. He spent his working career working in the mining industry as a surveyor. His years in the mining industry took him all over Western Canada from Ontario to BC and north to the Yukon and NWT. He loved the outdoors including camping, fishing and hunting. He had a special bond with all dogs that entered his life. He is survived by his loving wife Jerri, son Gene (Sharon), siblings Doreen (Duane), Liz, Janet, Shelley (Ron), Ceone (Frank), Ian (Brenda), Joel (Rino), Semone (Warren), and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Bertha and Rex, siblings Roberta, Russell, Donald and Allan. A Memorial Service will be held on July 26, 2019 at 2:00pm at Windsor Chapel (704 Windsor street).
