Robert was born in Cudworth, SK to Frank and Florence Lopinski in 1946. He is predeceased by his brother Virgil, then by his parents, brother-in-law Michael Boychuk, and just recently his nephew Richard.
Robert loved to golf especially when he had opportunity to golf with family. Their annual golf trips were a highlight. Robert loved to fish, he had not had much opportunity the last years but he often talked about his previous trips.
Robert had been retired for the last few years after driving cabs and couriers in Saskatoon for many years. He spent his time playing golf, going to card games, putting puzzles together, participating in hockey and golf drafts. He was a lifelong Maple Leaf fan and he always had a smile and a laugh when talking about those "Froggies", the Montreal Canadiens.
Robert is survived by his loving wife Linda, daughter Tabitha (Maurice), granddaughter Carla (Cam), brother Ivan (Maryanne), Sister Hilda, and numerous step grandchildren, nieces, nephews and all the grandnieces and nephews.
