She is survived by her brother Cameron (Sandy) of Cochrane, AB. She is also survived by nieces Danielle (Derek Cox), Heather Liska and great nieces Avery and Ivy, also great nephews Ashton and Tate.
Bobbi gained her education at the University of Saskatchewan earning a B.A. and B.ED. She began her teaching career in Stanley Mission and Lac La Ronge and continued her career at Westberry Elementary School in Kindersley teaching grade 2. She enjoyed teaching and was always interested in her students. She was well respected by parents, students and colleagues alike.
Throughout her life, Bobbi continued to develop new interests. Her interests included painting, stain glass, sewing, knitting, quilting, reading, gardening, watching Rider games and curling. She enjoyed retirement.
Her friends valued her quick wit and ability to make anything an adventure/occasion. She would always lend a hand to help a friend. Her door was always open.
Bobbi took great pride in her family and their accomplishments and spoke often of her Norwegian and Scottish Heritage.
Bobbi was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed.
A Graveside Service for Roberta will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Woodlawn Cemetery (1502 2nd Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK). All are welcome to attend, please meet at the main gates by 10:50 a.m.
