Ron Halpape

Born on November 27, 1949, to Helen Haugrud and Alexander Halpape in Quill Lake, SK. Ron is survived by his devoted wife, Joan, and daughters, Karen (husband Trampas, children Megan, Spencer) and Karla (children Ethan, Jack). He is also mourned by his mother Helen Haugrud, and siblings Duaine, Margaret, Alan, Terry, Doug, Lyle, and Lloyd.

Ron graduated from the U of S with a Degree in Commerce in 1976 and enjoyed a fulfilling career in farming and running MidWest Transport alongside his brother Terry. He cherished quiet weekends at Diefenbaker Lake, trips to Mexico, tinkering in the machine shed, and visiting family in Calgary. He loved to get into trouble with his grandsons and make time for fun, boat rides and many laughs.

Ron treasured the friendships he made throughout his life with many stories shared and memories made. A special thank you to Lorne and Roy for their devoted friendship and business support.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 29, at Mourning Glory-Acadia McKague's Funeral Chapel (915 Acadia Drive, Saskatoon, SK) with a reception to follow.
