

Shirley passed away at the Hospice at Glengarda in Saskatoon on Saturday, January 29, 2022. She was born September 16, 1941 to Wilbur and Ann Crowder and was raised and educated in the Blaine Lake district. She married Peter Bezpaloff on November 20, 1959. They had two children, Linda (John deBruin) and Jeffrey. Shirley has three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; a sister, Edith(John Vansil), brothers, Floyd(Noela Crowder), Stanley(Blanche Crowder), and Ernie(Irene Crowder). Shirley was predeceased by her son, Jeffrey Bezpaloff, her husband, Peter Bezpaloff, her parents, Wilbur and Ann Crowder, her nephew, Andrew (Butch) Crowder, her sister Edith Vansil and great granddaughter Rey Roses deBruin. During Shirley’s career, she was a telephone operator in Blaine Lake and then spent 30 years working at Zellers in Saskatoon. She loved gardening, trips to the greenhouse with her special friend Louise and having coffee with her friend Karen. Later in life she cherished her many phone visits with friends and family. After Shirley became ill, many people helped the family support and assist Shirley in many ways. We thank you all. A Family Celebration of Shirley’s Life will be at Windsor Chapel (704 Windsor Street, Saskatoon SK) on Saturday, February 5th at 11:00 am.
