HERBERS – Sophie Victoria Herbers (nee Smolkowski) of Parkridge Centre, passed away on March 27, 2012. Sophie was born on May 26, 1922 in Dana, Saskatchewan. She is survived by her children: Henry (Wilma), Kenneth (Marilyn), Jerome, Raymond (Sandra), Yvonne Dignard, Mark (Sheila), David (Janet), Joseph (Janice) and Alvin (Carmen). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Sophie was predeceased by her husband Julius in 1969. She was also predeceased by two brothers and four sisters.
The family appreciates the wonderful care that was given to Sophie at Parkridge Centre over the past six years. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Acadia-McKague’s Funeral Centre, 915 Acadia Drive, Saskatoon. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery.
