Ted passed away suddenly on May 30, 2015 at the age of 79. Ted will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his only daughter Marika (Patrick) Krone, his granddaughters Megan (Jack) Krone, Alyssa Krone and Kristin (Jesse) Thompson, sister-in-law Magdelene Lampert and brother-in-law Otto (Rosie) Deutsch and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Maria, of 51 years in 2010, brothers-in-law Balint Deutsch, Frank Deutsch and Gordon Lampert. Dad was born in Hungary and immigrated to Canada in 1956 with Maria’s family. He married Maria, the love of his life, on May 2, 1959. They settled in southern Ontario near the town of Simcoe and established a peach orchard and a wood working business in 1968, which they ran for nearly 30 years. In 1996 they moved to an acreage outside Saskatoon to be near their granddaughters. Dad was a hard working person always keeping busy with many projects whether it was gardening or woodworking. He was never short of ideas and usually found a way to make it a reality. Dad was a very creative man and made many beautiful and one of a kind pieces of furniture which his family will always cherish. Dad had a great sense of humour. He was always joking, smiling and had a twinkle in his eye. He made many friends easily wherever he went. Dad taught his family to never be afraid to take a chance and with a little hard work any thing is possible. He took great pride in watching his granddaughters grow up and become successful in their careers and always loved to hear about what they were doing.
