Wayne has been described by many as a caring, kind, hardworking, and sociable man, with a great sense of humour. We all have funny stories to share of the 'Wayner.” Children and animals were especially drawn to him. Wayne ended his working life just one year ago as a rural route courier driver for SENDR during which he liked meeting and serving his customers, and their doggies, who he enjoyed giving doggie treats to. Wayne loved spending time with his family and friends, and we loved being with him. He will be so very missed. “I will endure a lifetime of missing you for the privilege of loving you.”
A special thanks to the Palliative Care team at St. Paul's Hospital. We are grateful for your compassion during Wayne's short time with you. Thank you to Mandi Wasylkowski of Mourning Glory for her caring and kind attentiveness.
A Celebration of Wayne's Life will be held at a later date at Treeternity. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
