I had the privilege and honour of meeting Bert.
From the first introduction to the last time I saw him, nothing had changed. He still had that dry sense of humour I adored, and was as kind as anyone could be. I want to thank Bert's family, especially Lena, for welcoming me into their home, allowing me to assist Bert, and never once treating me like a stranger. I'm sure Bert will be missed by many as he touched a lot of lives, including my own. This world has lost a great man so that heaven can be a little brighter. Rest in peace, Sir.

Just heard about Bert's passing. I remember him fondly back when he was the camera man at CJIC TV, most especially in the early 1960's when Down Yonder Ranch was broadcast. He and my father, Don Ramsay, had great fun together and I remember Bert being such a great person, with an even greater sense of humor and patience. You had to have those attributes back then since television was live in those days! I know he will be certainly missed. LeRoy and I send our condolences to the family.

Sincerely,

Donna Ramsay Anderson and LeRoy Anderson
