Mark, John and family

Our deepest condolences to you and your family on the loss of your father, Andy. As a neighbor growing up a few doors down, I remember the door was always open at Irene and Andy's. He did live a long happy life and now he rests in peace.

Andy was my father-in-law for 37 years. He welcomed me into the Mantha family warmly and with open arms. Even though we lived a distance apart, he always actively listened and participated in phone calls with Mark, Claire, Bradley and I on at least a weekly basis. He leaves behind a legacy to be proud of and I hope he finds peace and rest with Irene, Joanne and his family. Peace be with you.

My heartfelt sympathy Mark,John and family on the passing of your Dad/Grandfather. I enjoyed the videos and pictures of my Uncle Andy that Mark and John had sent me this past year. I know he will be missed by many and it is never easy to say good-bye to the ones we Love. R.I.P Uncle Andy.

Condolences to the families of cousins Joanne (deceased), Mark and John. Happy memories of a teenaged Uncle Andy playing with me as a child in North Bay. I’ll always remember his kind and gentle manner. So sorry about the final arrangements which were unavoidable. We would definitely drive to his funeral if this pandemic were not active. He will be fondly remembered. Rest In Peace. May he find comfort in the arms of Jesus as he joins his beloved wife Irene.

The Mantha family was a great neighbour on Moluch and especially kind to my brothers Chris and David. Andy contributed so much to the community - for me - it was most about his kindness in always smiling and asking after family. My condolences

I will always cherish my memories of my wonderful father-in-law. Andy was warm, welcoming, charming and intelligent. He was easygoing and quick to crack a big smile. Always the professional, Andy never lost his keen interest in business and loved to discuss stocks and the markets. He and Irene were always generous with his family and friends and they loved to entertain in their cozy home. One of my favourite memories is of a visit he made to Toronto many years ago. He spent the night at our house and I proudly prepared a simple steak dinner special for him. He ate every morsel with gusto as we talked and laughed and it was a wonderful evening. Farewell Andy, may you always find your golf ball!
