It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Aubrey, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Aubrey was predeceased by his parents, Dave and Jean Kenagy, and by his brothers, Bobby and Richard. He is survived by his sister, Ellen. He leaves behind his beloved wife of almost 59 years, Joyce; his children, Mary Jean (Norm), John (Christina), and Tom (Sarah); his cherished grandchildren, Nicole (Anthony), Olivia, and Beck; and his treasured great-granddaughter, Florence.
Aubrey was a proud tin knocker who dedicated many years to his trade. He took great pride in his work and will be fondly remembered by the many friends and colleagues he made throughout his career.
Known for his loud, infectious laugh, Aubrey brought energy and warmth wherever he went. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
At Aubrey’s request there will not be a funeral but a celebration of life will take place at a later date. Memorial donation (payable by cheque or online) to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
