Bonnie Wills

Bonnie lived life fully and passionately. She leaves behind a legacy of resilience, laughter, boundless energy, love and generosity.

A woman of remarkable grace, deep strength, elegance and unending compassion, Bonnie brought beauty and warmth into every space she entered. Her love was a steady foundation for her family and friends, and her wisdom guided many.

She leaves behind her beloved husband, Gary; her siblings Arthur Fink (Rita), Peggie Aspler (Jerry) and John Fink. Predeceased by her parents Letitia and Lawrence Fink. Bonnie will also be missed by a number of cherished nieces, nephews and their children.

Bonnie adored her 3 “children”, Chewy (Cairn Terrier Pom), Heather (Pom) and Ava (Shih Tzu Maltese)!

She was a steadfast friend and determined mentor to those in need. Bonnie stepped up throughout her life to help through Telecare, Vicars, blood and charitable donations – even providing sleeping bags for the homeless.

Bonnie was diagnosed with Parkinson’s many years ago. She used her experiences to both meet her own challenges, and to assist others in coping with Parkinson’s.

A woman of immense talent and varied interests, Bonnie wove a vibrant life centered around family and friends, reading, beading, sewing, gardening, playing cards, hosting parties, dancing, travelling and sharing her famous crème brûlé. She brought fierce dedication and infectious enthusiasm to everything she touched. She loved to learn.

Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate her extraordinary life at Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St E; 705-759-2522) on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m., officiated by Rev. Helen Smith. Following service, guests are invited to gather to enjoy a reception and reminisce about our Bonnie. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions (payable online) in Bonnie’s memory may be made to the UHN Foundation (Toronto Western Hospital).
