Carman Percy Hoffman

Husband of Gail for 66 years. Loving father of Karen Inch (late John Sloan), and Ken (Marylou). Proud Papa of Stacey Cleave (Josh), Sarah Lambert (Jared), and Robert Inch (Shabornee Dasgupta). Cherished Great-Papa of Camy, Rosie, and Mack Cleave and Poppy, Goldie and Arlo Lambert.

Son of the late Fred and Annie Hoffman of South River, Ontario. He was predeceased by his brothers, William, Albert, Ted, Ron, Gordon, and Gerald, and his sisters Marjorie, Laura, Dorothy, Marion, Evelyn, Vickie, and Gloria, and was the last surviving sibling.

Son-in-law of the late Bob and Goldie Godson, brother-in-law of Sandra Riggs (late Les) and George Godson (Heather) of Peterborough. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

He worked for 30 years with the City Board of Works and was especially proud of his logging days. He was also an excellent craftsman, able to fix or build almost anything.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff at F. J. Davey Home, as well as the doctors and staff in the Emergency Department for their care and compassion over the past few days and years.

As per Carman’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory (made payable by cheque or online) may be made to F. J.
