Chad "Big Show" Vresk

VRESK, Chad Robert "Big Show" - Sunrise November 21, 1973, Sunset May 30, 2025 - It is with heavy hearts and deep love that we announce the unexpected passing of Chad on Friday, May 30, 2025 in his 52nd year.

Most loving husband, travel companion, and bestie to Melissa. Proud and adoring father to his best friend Everett. Devoted son of Peggy and the late Daniel Vresk. Loving brother of Mary-Liz Cicchini (late Bruno) and Dan Vresk (Fran). Cherished son-in-law of Jennifer and John Grawbarger. Deeply missed brother-in-law of Jo-Ann, Zak (Kass) and Lana (Richie). Devoted uncle to Alex, Danielle, Britney, Alicia, Cody, Olivia, Hazel, Tazon, Meila, Laiya and Jayla. His fur companions Kevin, Dusty and Smudge will miss their cuddles. Reunited with his late pup Ruben and kitten Bo Bichette (not the baseball player). Chad will be sorely missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and especially the Vresk, Grawbarger and Currie families. His loss will be felt by Brad, Jerry, Lenny and countless other friends. He was incredibly proud of all the players he coached and the hockey teams he was involved with through the years. The rinks and ball fields will never be the same.

The family would like to thank Dr. Koht and the nurses on 3A for their exceptional care and the ICU team who worked tirelessly for Chad. Special thanks to Dr. Hollingsworth, Julie Bradford and the Superior Family Health team.

Family and friends are invited to Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. East; 705-759-2522) on Monday, June 9, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. Service to follow at 3:00 pm. Rev. Helen Smith officiating. Everett is requesting that those in attendance dress casually in their fav sports ball hats, tees, shorts and slides (with or without socks). Memorial donations (payable by cheque or online) to T.A.A.G. (The Animal Assistance Group) would be appreciated.
