DROVER, Claudette Delia - It is with heavy hearts and joyful memories that the family of Claudette Delia Drover (nee Boulerice) of Sault Ste. Marie, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 6, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Claudette was born on April 13, 1938, in Bonfield Ontario, to the late Wilfred and Fabiola Boulerice. The Boulerice household was a lively one, with Claudette being one of fifteen children. This large loving family shaped her lifelong generosity and ability to connect with everyone.
Claudette was the heart of the home. She will be remembered for her welcoming smile, kind heart and generous spirit which shone brightest when she was hosting large family gatherings. She could also be found tending to her vibrant flowers and garden, with a good cup of coffee by her side. Claudette found special joy in reading to her grandchildren and will be fondly remembered for those hugs that lingered a little longer. She was also a devoted long-time member of the Catholic Women’s League, living her faith daily through acts of kindness, compassion, and service to others in her community.
Claudette is survived by her loving husband James Drover; her children Jamie (Jill), Claude (Tammy), Carole, late Suzanne (Laverne), Leonard, Carmen, Richard (Kimberley); her adoring grandchildren Mila, Cooper, Paige, Sydney, Caden, Riley, Joshua, Jenna, Monique, Shawn, Claudette, Kristy, Keith, Alicia; and also missed by 6 great-grandchildren and a large, loving extended family, and many friends.
The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to nurse Lyvia and the entire staff at Algoma Residential Community Hospice. Your grace, support, and compassionate care brought us great peace.
