Cora Doreen Rumley

It is with heavy hearts that we note the passing of Cora on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at the age of 88.

Predeceased by her loving parents, Ron and Sue Prior of Gore Bay Ontario. Also predeceased by her brothers Andy (Sharon) baby brother Rodger, Granddaughter Emily and Great Grandson Matthew. Sister to Bob (Joan), Beverly (Bert), and Steve.

Cherished mother of Kim (Rob), Tammy (Frank), and Barb (Randy). Proud grandma of Jason, Kyle, Stephen, Jennifer, Michaela, MacKenzie and Elizabeth. Great grandmother of Koen and Vienna, Riley and Penelope

Born May 26, 1938 in Ice Lake, Manitoulin Island, Cora lived her adult life in Sault Ste. Marie. Cora was dearly loved by many. She was involved in the Tarentorus Curling Club, and spent many years wintering in Arizona. She enjoyed her cottage on Desbarats Lake, and was blessed with many life long, best friends. She was a great listener, and loved to share a laugh with her besties.

In lieu of flowers, a donation (made payable by cheque or online) to A.R.C.H. or the charity of your choice in Cora’s name, would be appreciated.
