With broken yet grateful hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Cindy on Friday, July 31, 2026, with her sister-in-law holding her hand.
Left to celebrate her life is her best friend, husband and love of her life, John. Proud and loved mother of 5. Precious grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother of many. Special grandma to her fur-grandbaby Rex, and now reunited with her fur-baby Shilo.Thank you Brandon and Alana for always being there for Grandma. Beloved sister of Leslie (Erhart) and Steve (Erin). Special sister-in-law of Ada (late George). Best friend of Sharon Patterson. Cindy will forever watch over her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, especially Hailey, baby Felix and baby Ivy.
Cindy was a bright light in our lives. A faithful woman who enjoyed going to church, reading the bible, Christian and Country music. Cindy loved traveling, family functions and eating ice cream in the rain. Cindy also loved being in the presence of children and we are certain she will be honoured with the job of "Keeper of the Children and Animals" in heaven.
A special hug to Laurie, Renee, Ada and Angela for the last two weeks of Cindy's journey. We wish to give heartfelt gratefulness to the Alzheimer Society, Dr. Bowen and all the staff of 3B, Sault Area Hospital for their compassion and exceptional care.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street East, 705-759-2522) on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 1:00 to 2:45 p.m. Funeral service to follow at 3:00 pm.
