As an avid fisherman, Daren found peace out by the water with a fishing rod in hand. Whether he was fishing at Chippewa Falls, Whitefish Island or the St. Joseph Island Bridge, he was always the first one to catch.
When he took a break from out-fishing others, Daren loved to collect and play video games on his XBOX and PlayStation 5. World War Ships being one of his favourites.
Above all, Daren’s true love was his family and friends.
As per Daren’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Daren will be laid to rest by family at a later date. Committal to be officiated by Bud Bailey. A celebration of Daren’s life will be held by family following the committal. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions (payable by cheque or online) to the Salvation Army or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street East, 705-759-2522).
