Dawn Ellen Sloss

Born in Sault Ste. Marie to late parents Roy and Ida Merrifield (nee Mitchell). Beloved mother of Steven (Christine) and Shari (Paul). Cherished grandmother of David and Ally. Loving sister of Barbara (late Colin) and Janis (Harold). Adored "Auntie Dawn" to many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by many friends, especially her best friend of 65 years, Sharon, and her dear friend and neighbour, Carol.

Dawn loved to laugh and have fun. On weekends she could be found out dancing with her friends, listening to country music, at her trailer in Pine Crest, enjoying a good book, lounging in the sun or spending time with those she loved. Dawn was an unbelievably devoted grandma and was always so proud of their achievements. Family was always the most important thing in her life, but she always made sure that there was still room for her friends at the table.

We would like to thank the third floor B unit and the Palliative care team at the Sault Area Hospital. Sincere thanks to Dr. Anagnostopolous and Dr. Apostle for their outstanding care and compassion. You are all truly earth angels.
